“Norfolk’s finest flock”

The Norfolk Horn are a good breed for conservation grazing. They also do well in hard conditions and on scarce vegetation so they can acclimatise to a number of different environments.

As pedigree Norfolk Horns they are excellent breeding stock.

One of the characteristics of Norfolk Horns are that they are excellent foragers with an ability to convert lower grade pasture to maintain condition and rear lambs. As a result they are well suited to conservation grazing. The desperate plight of the Norfolk Horn breed in the 1970s, more than any other breed, led to an increased awareness of the need for genetic conservation amongst traditional farm animals and the consequent formation of the Rare Breed Survival Trust in 1973, which we are proud members of.

Whether you are looking for additional stock to breed and build up your flock or wish to have a small flock of 5-15 Norfolk Horns to keep your grazing under control we have the Ewes for you!
